If you are not the type of person that likes faux meats stop right here.  This post is not for you. If you do like them - you are in luck!  We are talking about the hottest new faux meat since faux sliced bread (just kidding, faux sliced bread does not even make sense).

The company Beyond Meat has revolutionized the faux meat game for vegans and vegetarians by introducing there products as the future of protein.  The idea is that if you can source meat from animals you can source meat from plants.  Considering that you when you break down the macro and micro nutrients, they are pretty similar, it makes sense.  Whether you agree with their angle or not, it is hard to disagree with the taste: absolutely delicious.

We have tried their "Beyond chicken strips" and are already sold.  Their 100% plant based meats are delicious and lightly seasoned for those of you with a delicate palate.  We spice them all the way up since our palates are very indelicate, but that is past the point. We use them in our omelettes, pizzas and sometimes just to snack on alone. We have been known to snack them down as we are cooking with them.  A bonus over animal chicken meat is that we can eat them "raw" without risking salmonella.  That is a winner for our greedy mouths.
