The "Wake up" Shake!

We have played with our morning routine for years. Recently we have found that a protein packed shake gets us going in the morning.  It also works as pre or post workout fuel.  Try, share and like!

Adashoftwo Wake up Shake

  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1 scoop Vega protein powder (chocolate flavor)
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp instant (or brewed) coffee
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 handful fresh spinach 

Add the banana, blueberries, strawberries and protein powder to the blender.  Then add protein powder coffee and fresh spinach.  Top it all with almond milk and filtered water.  Blend until desired consistency.  We like our shakes as smooth as silk, so we take our time with blending.

Makes 2 large servings
